I wore it to Yoga class today and really enjoyed the fit. The black fabric wicks away moisture so sweating in a headed yoga room or hot sauna was not a problem.

I sent my daughter to college so I could keep my fabric in her room... expensive storage!

My Yoga Top
I made it! I really like the fabric choices and pattern. The fit is awesome. No more too tight yoga tops from Ready to Wear. When I make the next one I may even go down a size for a more fitted version. I discovered using the washable double sided tape was a god send.

I am working on the Cashmerette Cedar Work Out Tank. I'm making 2 versions. One in pink and the other in purple 💓. I'm making it to wear to a yoga class once I actually start going... I didn't get enough roll over elastic for these tops or enough of the black fabric so I had to go back to JoAnn's today to purchase them at lunch. I'm hoping to finish at least one of them this weekend. I'm making the pink one first and will make any changes needed on the purple one. Here is a look at the pattern:

Make #3 2018RTWFast
Yesterday I finished my third piece. It started out as a longer tunic than the paisley, but it's long enough that it's now a dress. Surprise! The fabric is also from Sly Fox Fabrics a DBP and is called Vogue in Black. I used the Greenstyle Scarlet dress pattern again. I opted for the rounded neck with the same wider bell sleeves used on the paisley top. I LOVE it! It's so incredibly soft that I can't stop feeling it. I'm thinking pajama pants in the DBP are a good idea.
Next I plan to cut out 2 yoga tops to wear to classes at the gym.

2018RTWFast
I joined the 2018 Ready-to-Wear Fast on Instagram. The idea is that I will not purchase any clothes in 2018. I will wear clothes I already have or I will sew clothes to wear. Tonight I finished 2 pieces I started 12/2017. This is my first completion this year.
The top is the Scarlett Swing Dress from Greenstyle Creations. I used the tunic version and added volume to the bell sleeves. The fabric is a Single Brushed Poly Black and Gold Paisley from Sly Fox Fabrics. The pants are Pegs from Patterns for Pirates. The fabric is the Black Double Brushed Poly. I used a hack to flare the bottom of the legs. If I make these again I'll start higher up than the knee to add the flare and add a couple inches. Kim is doing the Fast too. I'm excited to see what we make this year.

Emma's LSU Skirt
I've had this fabric since Kimmie started at LSU. She will get her degree in a few months and I never made her the pillow I'd planned with this fabric. I've adopted her fiance's niece to be my "practice granddaughter". So I wanted to make my granddaughter a dress There was not enough fabric for that, so I decided to make the most ridiculously full skirt for a 3 yr old I could. The pleats just happened to fall in this awesome display. I didn't have any extra fabric so that is a good thing. Can't wait to see her in it.
